Education Desk, New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will conduct the exams for four subjects of the State Assistant Teacher, Trained Graduate Category Examination 2025 (UP LT Grade Teacher Recruitment) on 17 and 18 January. The admit cards for candidates who applied for the recruitment will be available for download tomorrow, i.e., 8 January.
The UPPSC will release the admit cards for the Uttar Pradesh Assistant Teacher Recruitment tomorrow. Tomorrow 8 Jan 2026, the admit cards will be available only for the exams scheduled on 17 and 18 January. The admit cards for the exams on 24 and 25 January will be released soon.
The admit cards will be released on the official website uppsc.up.nic.in, from where candidates can download them by entering their login credentials. Admit cards will not be sent offline or by post.
Exam Dates and Shift Timings According to the Subject
UPPSC will conduct the exams for Social Science, Biology, English, and Physical Education on 17 and 18 January. The exams will be held at exam centers located in 26 districts of the state. The details of the subject, exam date, shift, and timing are as follows:

Steps to Download the Admit Card
- To download the UPPSC LT Grade Teacher Recruitment admit card, you must first visit the official website uppsc.up.nic.in.
- On the homepage of the website, you will need to click on the link related to the admit card.
- Now, you will need to enter your OTR number.
- After this, the admit card will open on the screen, from where you can download it and take a printout.
Note: Admit cards will not be sent offline or by post.
Admit Cards for Other Dates will be Released Soon
After 17 and 18 January, the exams for Arts and Agriculture/Horticulture subjects will be conducted on 24 January, while the exams for Urdu and Music subjects will be held on 25 January 2026. The admit cards for these dates may be released on 14 or 15 January. Candidates can visit the official website for more details related to the recruitment.
Recruitment Details
Through this recruitment, a total of 7,466 vacant posts of Assistant Teacher (TGT) will be filled in the state. Out of these, 4,860 posts are for male candidates, 2,525 posts are for female candidates, and 81 posts are reserved for the PH (Persons with Disabilities) category.
