Exposure of Pakistan’s Ugly Face: Pashtun Officials Reveal the Truth at the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting

Pakistan

World Economic Forum: The malicious face of Pakistan, a country hostile to India, has once again been exposed. This time, at the World Economic Forum, Pakistan has been accused of using its army as a terrorist force.

During the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Pashtun groups staged strong protests against the Pakistani government and the Pakistani army. The protesters raised slogans saying that the world is watching Pakistan kill Pashtuns. They accused Pakistan of killing innocent civilians in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Although these protests are taking place on a small scale, they are happening at a venue where top leaders, business figures, and global personalities from around the world have gathered.

Allegation of Using the Army as a Terrorist Force

The protesters say that Pakistan is using its army like a terrorist force, once again exposing the reality of Pakistan’s sponsorship of terrorism and its human rights record. Pakistan has long faced allegations of sheltering terrorists and financing terrorism. After the Pahalgam terror attack in April 2025, India also raised the issue at the international level and labeled Pakistan a terrorist state.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Arrives in Davos

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir have arrived in Switzerland, where the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) is being held in Davos. The meeting, running from January 19 to 23, is being attended by many countries from around the world, including India. During this period, the Pakistani prime minister may meet U.S. President Trump. It is being discussed that at the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will request President Trump to lift the ban imposed on visas for Pakistanis.

Trump has Previously Praised Shehbaz and Munir

It should be noted that there has been a significant shift in relations between the United States and Pakistan in recent times. President Trump has on several occasions praised Asim Munir for helping end the war with India. He had invited Shehbaz Sharif and Asim Munir to the United States, where their meeting with Trump made headlines. President Trump takes credit for stopping the war between India and Pakistan and has often claimed that it was he who persuaded both countries to agree to a ceasefire.
