Meeting of the Third Hindi Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying was Held in New Delhi

On the occasion of World Hindi Day, the Third Joint Hindi Advisory Committee meeting of the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying was held today in New Delhi, under the chairmanship of Shri Rajeev Ranjan Singh, alias Lalan Singh, the Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, and Minister of Panchayati Raj.

On this occasion, the senior officials present welcomed the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and all the members of the committee. Following this, presentations were made by both departments of the Ministry the Fisheries Department and the Animal Husbandry & Dairying Department regarding the implementation of the Official Language work being carried out in their respective departments. The committee members appreciated the progress and efforts mentioned in the presentation.

On this occasion, Union Minister Rajeev Ranjan Singh and Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel, jointly released the Hindi magazines Surbhi (from the Animal Husbandry & Dairying Department), Matsya Bharti and Matsya Kirti (from the Fisheries Department), as well as the departmental glossary.

On this occasion, Union Minister Rajeev Ranjan Singh said that Hindi is a powerful language, and we must rise above our inferiority complex and use it as much as possible in both government and private work. Only then will we be able to take it forward.

In his address, Minister of State, Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel said that for the betterment of Hindi, we must start using it from our own homes. Only then will the upcoming generation understand its importance.

In their addresses, the departmental ministers congratulated the concerned officials for the excellent implementation of the official language by the Fisheries Department and the Animal Husbandry & Dairying Department. They also appealed for the increased use of Hindi in the ministry’s daily office work.

During the detailed discussion on the agenda, all the committee members appreciated the efforts and initiatives taken for the implementation of the official language. They presented their detailed suggestions and views on encouraging the use of Hindi in the ministry and achieving the set goals. In particular, all the non-government members praised the progress made in the use of Hindi in the Fisheries Department and the Animal Husbandry & Dairying Department compared to the previous meeting.
