Talk about creating a buzz, and Hrithik Roshan always comes around with a spur.

Rakesh Roshan, the father of Hrithik Roshan, appears to be discussing extending their production facility. The father-son team is rumored to have purchased four office spaces in Marathon Futurex in Mumbai’s Lower Parel neighborhood in order to accommodate the required growth.

This Bollywood actor, last seen in the Hindi version of the popular Tamil film Vikram Vedha, has now turned his attention to his upcoming film, Fighter, which also stars Deepika Padukone. According to Times of India, the 48-year-old actor has also invested 33 crore rupees in a commercial property in Mumbai’s Lower Parel neighborhood as he gets ready for Siddharth Anand’s action thriller.

Abhishek Kiran Gupta, CEO and Co-founder CRE Matrix – a real estate data analytics firm, who accessed the documents of the deal, told MoneyControl, “Sale of 10,539 sq ft carpet area office grade A space in Lower Parel once again reinstates unsatiated demand for good quality office space. The price comes to approximately 32,000 per sqft on carpet which is very attractive as housing projects in the same micro market trade at 50,000 per sqft.”

The 10,000 square foot office space that Roshan and his father Rakesh Roshan purchased is situated in Marathon Futurex – Lower Parel, which is already home to a number of well-known companies like L’Oreal, Nykaa, Kansai Nerolac, and more. According to the article, the Roshans also paid Rs 2 crore in stamp duty for the commercial property that has eight parking places.

According to Times of India, earlier in 2020, Roshan spent over Rs 100 crore on two opulent residences stretched over three storeys in a building in one of Mumbai’s fanciest neighborhoods, Juhu. The lavish residences have 10 parking spaces, a private lift, and an open terrace area.

In September this year, Nykaa, the widely known name for Falguni Nayar-promoted FSN E-Commerce Ventures, also leased two office spaces spread across 55,146 sq ft at Lower Parel in Mumbai for around Rs 70 lakh a month for five years. These floors have been leased from Marathon Realty Private Limited.

On the professional front, Roshan will shortly begin shooting for his upcoming movie, Fighter. Additionally, he is rumored to collaborate with Ranbir Kapoor on Nitesh Tiwari’s monumental Ramayana-based project. Not only that, but the father-and-son Roshan team is also hard at work on the upcoming Krrish, sequel of their superhero franchise.
