They have a proud history and have played a key role in the development of the global game. With over 200 million passionate cricket fans in Bangladesh, we want to ensure that their absence does not have a long-term impact.”

The ICC has stated that no sanctions or fines will be imposed on Bangladesh. The country still retains the right to approach the ICC’s dispute resolution committee.
