On Sunday, at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Summit 2026 held in Rajkot, Mukesh Ambani first paid tribute to the land of Gujarat, saying, ‘My revered father Dhirubhai Ambani was a son of the land of Saurashtra.’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also present at the event, and Mukesh Ambani praised him highly from the stage.

Jamnagar will Become a Hub for Green Energy Exports
He said that in Jamnagar, we are building the world’s largest integrated clean energy ecosystem, which will include solar energy, battery storage, green hydrogen, green fertilizers, aviation fuel, and marine fuel. These are not just industries of the future, but the foundation for India’s prosperous tomorrow. Once known for hydrocarbon exports, Jamnagar is now set to become India’s largest Green Energy Export Hub.
Focus on solar projects
Mukesh Ambani said that the multi-gigawatt solar project in Kutch will provide 24×7 clean electricity. This project will give new strength to India’s Renewable Energy Mission and will position Gujarat strongly on the global stage.
Gujarat will be India’s AI hub
India’s largest AI-ready data center is being built in Jamnagar, with a single goal: affordable AI for every Indian. For this, Jio will launch a people-centric intelligence platform, which will be made in India. In addition, Mukesh Ambani has also announced the opening of a world-class hospital in Jamnagar, Saurashtra.
Olympics in Ahmedabad
Along with this, the Reliance Foundation will stand with the Gujarat government to realize the dream of hosting the 2036 Olympics in Ahmedabad. Reliance will also manage the Veer Savarkar Multi-Sports Complex, which will serve as a center for hosting national and international events and training India’s future champions.
