The Samsung Galaxy Book 6 series was launched in India on Friday. It had been introduced more than a month earlier in the UK and other markets. The series includes the flagship Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and the standard Galaxy Book 6 model.
All three laptops will be available in the country through the company’s online store as well as Samsung’s authorized offline retail outlets, which has been confirmed. The Ultra and Pro models come in a single color option, while the standard model is available in two color options.
The new Galaxy Book 6 series laptops are powered by Intel’s latest Panther Lake processors.
Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Series: Price and Pricing in India
In India, the price of the Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Ultra starts at ₹2,42,990 for the variant with the Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processor. Meanwhile, the 14-inch Galaxy Book 6 Pro is priced at ₹1,78,990 in India for the base variant with an Intel Core Ultra 5 Series 3 processor, 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage. These laptops are available in only one gray color option.
Finally, the 14-inch Samsung Galaxy Book 6 starts at ₹1,27,990 in India, offering the same processor, RAM, and storage configuration as the Pro model. This laptop will be available in Gray and Silver color options.
However, these are the effective prices of the new laptops, which may include bank discounts. Additionally, the company is offering options like up to 24 months of interest-free EMI or cashback of up to ₹5,000. With a valid student ID, customers can also get additional benefits of up to 10%.
The new Samsung Galaxy Book 6 series will be available for sale in India through Samsung’s online store and other authorized offline retail channels.
Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Ultra: Specifications and Features
The flagship Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Ultra comes with Windows 11 Home. It features a 16-inch WQXGA+ (2,880 × 1,800 pixels) AMOLED touchscreen that offers up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness. It also includes an anti-reflective coating.
The laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra X7 Series 3 Evo Edition processor, along with an Intel NPU delivering up to 50 TOPS of performance, and an Nvidia GeForce 5070 GPU.
Additionally, this laptop comes with up to 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD for internal storage. The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra features a 2-megapixel 1080p Full-HD webcam.
The laptop also includes a Samsung Two-Tone Pro backlit keyboard and a haptic touch trackpad. It is powered by an 80.20Wh battery with 140W wired fast charging support.
The Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Ultra includes the following I/O ports: two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB Type-A port, a MicroSD card slot, an audio jack, and an HDMI 2.1 port. The laptop measures 356.9 × 248 × 15.4 mm and weighs approximately 1.89 kg.
Samsung Unveils Galaxy Book 6 Series with AMOLED Touchscreens and Intel Core Ultra Processors
The Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Pro runs on the same version of Windows as the Ultra model. It features an AMOLED touchscreen of up to 16 inches with an anti-reflective coating. The laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra X7 Series 3 Evo Edition processor, paired with an Intel Arc Graphics integrated GPU.
Like the flagship Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, it comes with the same RAM, storage, NPU, webcam, I/O ports, backlit keyboard, and trackpad. The 16-inch model has a 78.07Wh battery, while the 14-inch model comes with a 67.18Wh battery. Their dimensions are 356.9 × 248.0 × 11.9 mm and 314.2 × 220.6 × 11.6 mm, and they weigh approximately 1.59 kg and 1.24 kg, respectively.
Speaking of the standard model, the Samsung Galaxy Book 6 also comes with the same OS, I/O ports, RAM, SSD, backlit keyboard, webcam, and trackpad as the Pro and Ultra models.

It will be available in three display variants: a 16-inch touchscreen model, a 16-inch non-touch model, and a 14-inch non-touch model. The top-end Galaxy Book 6 features a 16-inch WUXGA (1,920 × 1,200 pixels) IPS touchscreen display with a peak brightness of up to 350 nits.
The Samsung Galaxy Book 6 is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processor, along with an Intel NPU that delivers up to 49 TOPS of performance and includes an integrated GPU. For connectivity, this laptop supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4.
The non-touch model measures 357.1 × 248.0 × 14.9 mm, while the touchscreen variant measures 357.1 × 248.0 × 16.8 mm. Finally, the 14-inch option has dimensions of 313.4 × 221.1 × 14.9 mm.
